Rainy Day Fun!
So the weekend weather wasn’t that great! We stared the
weekend by having a fun picnic in the Woods and we had so much planned for our
next day adventure but it rained all day.
We quickly brightened our day with some colourful art. It
instantly put a smile on Elisha’s face!

Craft with
Toddlers
According to child development researchers crafting is a great way to engage your preschoolers, toddler or baby
in ideas that provide foundation for future learning.
Benefits:
·
Extending their thinking across multiple
patterns of intelligence
· Develop
higher thinking skills
· Enhance
multicultural understandings
· Build
self esteem
· Gain
positive emotional responses to learning
·
Engage through a variety of learning styles
Even if they cant cut out the shapes neatly or glue things in the right place its still so
much fun. I always have everything pre-cut and ready on the table. Elisha has
great fun making pictures with me and even more excited when showing her master pice to her
dad, she explains everything in detail and makes sure he is listening to her. I
am also guardian to older children and I believe crafting with them about their
school subject helps them figure out how to express ideas and concepts visually.
Hope you enjoyed this craft post. Get Making and let me know
how you got on.
Always assist children when using scissors and glue.
Sin xx
